Hi Guys,
Well, I think it only fair to tell you all that I have bee speaking to J this evening and it has been made perfectly clear to me why I have been sacked. I know full well that I have been blatantly breaking the zone BBS terms of service recently, but I was silly enough to think that it wouldn't be noticed.
It has been noticed and I must now take the consequences. I'm on a warning and any further breaches of the terms of service will result in a permament ban.
That's it really.

This is crazy. I only wish I knew what on earth was going on here. I have to say Mel that out of all of us community leaders I'd have picked you last in a list of most likely to abuse power.
Jay, to you I must apologise. All of what I said last Monday was apparently uncalled for. I still don't know the details though but, well, I did speak out of turn so for that, I am sorry.
I swear this week just keeps getting more and more bizarre.

Based on the above apology and upon some reflection, I have brought Harp back as a CL. Thank you all for your support during this stressful time.
hi, i think you did the right thing there jay by bringing harp back. and, hugs mel. just, be careful and stay safe. I was going to ask for a refund of my premi7um membership, but, i'm reconsidering now.
I wonder if Dans even been asked if he wants it, or if he'll wake up today and find it's just happened, and that he really wishes it hadn't.

It's already happened. This post was made, and we suddenly discovered that he was CL again.
He was already doing the job anyway, even without the title, so he might as well be.

given how hard it is to actually get banned from this site, this really doesn't add up to me. people come on here, insult each other, insult other users, post very contentiously on the boards and qn's and never get so much as a warning. and yet someone "breaches the terms of service" and her account is disabled yet she says she's just on a warning?
sorry but I don't believe this is even true.
conspiracy alert ... someone with the ability to access the account (and yes, an admin would be able to do this) posts a topic clarifying why this cl has been disgraced, and then disables the account to ensure said cl can't come back and out the person who has posted under her name. This provokes apology from Dan, which means he can be reinstated as cl without the admin having to admit that he's made a mistake in sacking him, a mistake he would have been happy to live with had it not been for the backlash following his sacking.

um... this ss nuts! j know admin in person he wouldn't do something like that. lets show some comon since here.
It's only two days until April 1.
I'm beginning to consider that possibility now too bob. lol. mel's post was a little self contradictory, and lots of stuff just doesn't quite add up.

I can only agree with Kay: I seriously doubt that I will extend my premium membership. If it's a joke, then it's not funny at all. When the CLs joked about closing the zone ... okay, that was a joke, and it was short and chaotic and now I laugh about it. But this is not funny.
hey now, no need to say you won't extend your premium membership. if a car company fires a good worker do you stop using that brand of car?

He's using them as an example of the current situation -- If your friend was fired from an Apple orchard, would you still eat the fruits from their stock if they were readily available?
I've oft railed against the lack luster comprehension levels of many of the Zone Users, and while I understand that we all have differing aptitudes: Get real! How did you manage to draw a conclusion about her not driving, then to go further on to try and devaluate the statement by saying that because she doesn't drive, the analogy was stupid?

Kai is quite correct as ever. The comprehension levels round this place are shocking a lot of the time and frankly, that's wildly understating things. Come on people, everybody knows that an allergy is a hyper sensitive reaction to an allergen! Duh.

Ines I didn't know they had a joke about closing the Zone down! Pretty scary! I don't want the primium membership! A lot of people have been asking me to get it! But I don't think it's worth it!
I don't think the point of premium membership is for the extra benefits, but to help the zone.
